Luisa Ruiz
CLS (NCA), MLS (ASCP) CM, DLM (ASCP) CM
Luisa Ruiz is the CEO of Clinical Lab Consultants, LLC/(dba) Ruiz & Associates and has been a Independent subcontractor for Wellspring Partners, A Huron Consulting Group. She has also worked with J.A. Lien & Associates.
Luisa brings over 40 years of professional experience in all areas of laboratory including management; She was on the First Florida Board of Clinical Laboratory Personnel for six years. Luisa has performed GAP Analysis on CLIA regulations she also prepares Research Laboratories performing Human Genome testing with their Laboratory Developed Tests (LDT) to conform to CLIA Regulations.
Her clients range from Europe and through out the USA. In addition to her High complexity labs many of her clients are POL, Independent Lab, and Hospital Labs. She spends much of her time educating her clients as to the rules and regulations that govern a Quality Clinical Laboratory so as to avoid future citations from the various Accreditation bodies to comply with ALL the State and Federal regulations.
Carlos Ruiz
Carlos J. Ruiz, MD, FACP is a Senior Associate with Clinical Lab Consultants, LLC/(dba) Ruiz & Associates. He was the first Infectious Disease Specialist in the Orlando area. He opened his practice in 1973 and he is also the founding physician of Infectious Disease Consultants, IDC. and Orlando Immunology Center, OIC.Dr. Ruiz has worked with laboratories seeking CLIA Certification. He has a vast knowledge of Personalized Medicine as it relates to PCR Testing and Sequencing. He offers GAP analysis on CLIA regulations
Su Myat Tin
Is an Associate of Clinical Lab Consultants,LLC (dba) Ruzi & Associate.Su has worked for over 20 years in the field of clinical Laboratories and specializes in Validations and work flow Processing.She has expertise in all the Accreditation requirements and implementation of process through the clinical laboratories.
Su,is a hands on Technical Consultant and Trainer in the Clinical Laboratory SAE offer full GAP Analysis on 42 title C.F.R 493 – CLIA certification and all Accreditation body requirements.
Abigail Dallas
Abigail is an Associate of Clinical Lab Consultants, LLC over 10 years, and is a College of American Pathology [CAP] inspector. Her experience includes policy and procedure development and review, Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments [CLIA] Federal regulation [42 title C.F.R.493] CLIA certificate rules, and CAP, COLA, A2LA, ISO 15189 accreditations. In addition, she has been active in laboratory site compliancy checks, streamlining processes within a clinical environment, Quality Assurance and Quality Management reviews, and assisting research lab development tests to become CLIA certified tests.
Abigail has performed CAP Inspections and Audits all types of Accredited laboratories. She has also worked on CMS plans of correction with clients and Attorney’s. She works with both state and federal agencies on behalf of our clients.
She also has 40 years of hospital management experience and program development having managed the departments and build of eight new emergency departments, an outpatient Rule-Out MI/chest pain center, outpatient laboratory, children’s emergency center, and flight [helicopter emergency response/transport] services, and the redesign of other facilities. She has worked in Administration and all aspects of critical care: Emergency Department Services, PACU, ICU, and Out-patient Services.
Abigail teaches a Be Safe, workplace risk mitigation program designed specifically for the healthcare environment; an aggression management training class to those jobs which require confronting the hazards of human conflict in the prevention of violence. She also teaches a customer service class to healthcare employees, “Details Make the Difference.”
